What is Full Spectrum Carework?
Originally, the term "full-spectrum doula" was coined to signal that these particular doulas were available and prepared to provide support for abortion. "Full-spectrum," then, refers to the full spectrum of pregnancy outcomes, including pregnancy loss and termination. This distinction is significant, as not all doulas or reproductive careworkers are values-aligned with, or adequately prepared to support pregnancy experiences that are not carried to term.

I use Full Spectrum Carework to refer to the expanded application of the "doula" model of care, which is non-clinical emotional-social and practical support. Through the years, I have applied this model of direct care in my work with clients moving through experiences related to preconception, pregnancy, miscarriage, abortion, birth, and/or postpartum, as well as those who are moving through the experiences of coming out, socially transitioning, and/or medically transitioning/recovering from gender affirming surgeries. All of my work centers queer and trans people, and aims to be culturally-appropriate, anti-racist, and access-centered.

I am currently only available to work with a small number of clients directly, and will prioritize working with those who are a best fit. Please contact me if you are interested learning more about either virtual or in-person carework. Below are offerings that are currently available to everyone!

Breathe Easy is a radically inclusive series of guided embodied practices that was created specifically for people who are trying to conceive, pregnant, or postpartum. You do not need any experience in order to utilize the 5-hours of content, which you will find yourself able to use over and over again. Throughout the series, modifications are offered for people in changing bodies, people in bigger bodies, people with limited mobility, people who have limited space and time to practice, and people who do not have access to store-bought equipment.

Without imposing or projecting onto your experience of the childbearing year(s), I offer you a space to safely move your body, connect with yourself, and rest.
This series includes:
  • 60-minute pre-conception movement practice
  • 60-minute prenatal movement practice
